Daniel Major is a mining engineer with more than 35 years' experience in the mining industry.

Daniel Major is a mining engineer with more than 35 years' experience in the mining industry from banking and finance (JP Morgan, HSBC) to developing projects across uranium, copper, gold and critical minerals, with particular depth in Africa. He most recently served as CEO of GoviEx Uranium Inc. (TSXV) from 2012 to 2025, taking the company public and advancing a multi-jurisdictional African portfolio through feasibility studies and ESIAs.

Daniel has over 20 years' experience as an executive leading companies in Canada, South America and Russia. He holds a B.Eng (Hons) in Mining Engineering from the Camborne School of Mines and currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of Leading Edge Materials Corp.

Burns Singh Tennent-Bhohi 🇬🇧

Burns Singh Tennent-Bhohi is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of the Glenpani Group.

Over the past decade, Burns has focused on identifying and evaluating distressed assets globally. Through creative recapitalisation, corporate restructuring and strategic realignment, Glenpani and Burns have sourced and executed numerous private and public market opportunities across the natural resources, technology and alternative energy sectors. These investments have delivered significant returns, including cases in excess of 100x on capital deployed. Burns has also participated in corporate mineral transactions with Tier-1 mining companies, including Rio Tinto.

Burns became involved with Eastport six years ago, when the Company was still a single-project vehicle. Working closely with Co-Founder, Rick Bonner, he helped reposition Eastport into a proactive yet patient critical-metals developer – anticipating increased market recognition for high-quality development projects in Tier-1 mining jurisdictions such as Botswana.

Burns holds an MA in Social Sciences from the University of Glasgow. Before forming Glenpani Group, he was a full-time trader of securities and derivatives, primarily focused on commodities, mining equities and foreign exchange.

Rick G. Bonner 🇨🇦

Rick Bonner has over forty years of mineral exploration experience across four continents, exploring for copper, gold, uranium, and diamonds.

Rick Bonner has over forty years of mineral exploration experience across four continents, exploring for copper, gold, uranium, and diamonds. His work has taken him around the world, including the former Soviet Union, western and southern Africa, and Arctic Canada, for major mining groups such as BHP and Rio Tinto.

A co-founder of Westport Resources Namibia, Rick built a significant exploration company for Forsys Metals Corp., a TSX-listed company. This work included advancing their key project, the Valencia uranium deposit, from the exploration stage to a measured resource, at which point the project was delivered for development consideration.

Rick is a licensed Professional Geologist (non-practicing in the jurisdiction) with NAPEG, Canada. He has also held a number of directorships at Canadian public junior exploration companies and founded several exploration companies, including Kalahari Key Mineral Resources in Botswana.

Ms. Denise Lok is a Chartered Professional Accountant with extensive experience in corporate finance, financial reporting, and governance.

Ms. Denise Lok is a Chartered Professional Accountant with extensive experience in corporate finance, financial reporting, and governance. She has spent over 15 years advising and managing financial operations for publicly traded companies across various sectors, including mining, technology, and industrial markets. Previously, she was with PwC in the audit and assurance practice, where she obtained her CPA designation. Throughout her career, she has served as CFO and director for multiple TSX Venture Exchange and Canadian Securities Exchange-listed companies. Ms. Lok holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Transportation Logistics from the University of British Columbia.

Dr Gomotsang Tshoso 🇧🇼

Dr Tshoso completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Botswana in 1997, graduating with a BSc in Geology. She then pursued advanced degrees at the University of Western Brittany, France, in geology and geophysics, eventually completing her PhD in Geophysics in 2003.

Her professional career began in 2004 at the Botswana Geological Survey (BGS) as a Senior Geophysicist, where she eventually achieved the leading position of Chief Economic Geologist in 2014. Following the transformation of the BGS to Botswana Geoscience Institute (BGI), Dr Tshoso was appointed as Manager, Mineral Resources & Hydrocarbons, until joining Eastport Ventures Botswana (EVB) in September 2022 as its CEO with a mandate to advance the Company’s project portfolio beyond exploration.

Molekane is an experienced accounting professional with a comprehensive understanding of finance and accounting procedures. He is highly proficient in accounting and taxation legislation in Botswana.

He holds a Certificate in Business Accounting and an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting, both from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in Botswana.
